U\u017e v roce 1942 &#8211; pouh\u00fdch 5 let po vzniku &#8211; byl Volkswagen suver\u00e9n\u011b nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm v\u00fdrobcem osobn\u00edch voz\u016f v cel\u00e9m N\u011bmecku. Z\u00e1sadn\u00ed zm\u011bnu prod\u011blala automobilka v 70. letech, kdy se za\u010daly vyr\u00e1b\u011bt modely jako Golf nebo Passat, kter\u00e9 se vyr\u00e1b\u00ed dodnes.
